Harper

Harper is the foundation and heart of our breeding program. Coming to us from Texas, she has proven to be everything we could have hoped for and more. Harper finished her AKC Championship at just 11 months old, and by the age of two, she had completed her Grand Championship during a special trip to Minnesota. Not long after, she added a Rally Novice title to her accomplishments, earning it in 2020 just shy of her third birthday.

As a producer, Harper has exceeded every expectation. Over the course of three litters, she has blessed us with 36 outstanding puppies. Among them are 9 AKC Champions, 6 Grand Champions, multiple Best in Specialty winners, several hunt test–titled dogs, and many others who have earned performance and companion titles. Her influence continues through the next generation as well, as she is already the proud grand-dam of 2 AKC Champions, 3 AKC-pointed dogs, and multiple hunt test–titled dogs.

Now 8 years old, Harper is happily enjoying her well-earned retirement. True to her spirited personality, she spends her senior years doing what she loves best—being a lovable menace and keeping life lively here at LakeHaus.

Briar

GCH CH LakeHaus' If I Was You, I'd Wanna Be Me Too CGC

Briar is our keeper from the 2021 Franklin x Harper litter and has always been known for her sweet and sensitive nature. She loved her time in the show ring, where she quickly earned both her AKC Champion and Grand Champion titles.

As a producer, Briar has made a lasting contribution to our program. She whelped one lovely litter of eight for LakeHaus, from which we kept Maris and Derek. Already, Briar has produced two AKC Champions, with a third just waiting on a final major to finish, as well as three hunt test–titled dogs and several others making excellent progress toward performance titles. Just as importantly, she consistently passes down her gentle disposition and calm, steady manner to her offspring.

Briar now resides with a trusted family, where she enjoys a well-deserved retirement with her beloved owners—and even shares her days with her sire as a playmate.

Franklin

CH Lahrheim's All About the Benjamin's

Franklin came to us from California and quickly became an important part of our program. A big, soft, and sweet boy, he is eager to please and full of enthusiasm—making him a fun and engaging companion both at home and in the ring.

Franklin earned his AKC Champion title at 2 years old and soon after completed all the points required for his Grand Champion title, with only a final Champion Defeat needed to finish—a goal we may pursue in the future.

As a sire, Franklin has produced three litters for LakeHaus, with four AKC Champions to his credit so far and his youngest offspring already showing tremendous promise.

Now in his senior years, Franklin enjoys a quieter life with a wonderful family, sharing his days with his daughter Briar as a constant companion.
