Sloane

Sloane is a beautiful solid liver girl from Woodlyn Kennels in South Carolina. True to her pedigree, she is an active and driven dog who loves both play and work. In training, she shows remarkable focus and intensity, which makes teaching new concepts a joy. Her stunning movement and presence in the ring quickly stood out—Sloane earned Best in Match twice during her very first weekend “playing show dog.” At her first official show, she was awarded two Reserve Winners Bitch placements, and in her debut season she went on to earn three Best of Breed wins and three Sporting Group placements. She completed her AKC Championship title in July 2023.

Sloane’s versatility extends far beyond the show ring. She earned a Prize II with a score of 108 in her NAVHDA Natural Ability test. In July 2025, she became the first Alaskan dog to earn a NAVHDA Gun Dog Test Prize, achieving a Prize III. The following month, she picked up three out of four passes toward her AKC Junior Hunter title, with plans to complete her fourth pass in 2026. Looking ahead, her winter 2025/2026 goals include earning Beginner Novice and Novice Obedience titles, as well as her Rally Advanced title.

In addition to her accomplishments, Sloane began her career as a dam in April 2025, whelping a wonderful first litter of 11 puppies who show tremendous promise.
