Melanie

Melanie, from our Spring 2025 Franklin x Sloane litter, is a confident, outgoing young female with an abundance of personality. Friendly, social, and always looking for her next adventure, she approaches new experiences with enthusiasm and a sense of humor that keeps us constantly entertained. While she can certainly be a bit of a twerp at times, her confidence, resilience, and willingness to engage with the world make her a joy to live and work with.

From an early age, Melanie demonstrated the trainability and stable temperament we strive for in our breeding program. By seven months of age, she had already earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen, Community Canine, STAR Puppy, Trick Dog Novice, Virtual Home Manners Puppy, and Virtual Home Manners Adult titles. At just 12 months old, she added her AKC Rally Novice title, showcasing both her willingness to work and her ability to perform in new environments.

Melanie is beginning her conformation career in the summer of 2026 and will enter the field and NAVHDA testing programs in 2027. We are excited to watch her mature and continue developing both as a competitor and as a representative of the qualities we value most: sound structure, stable temperament, trainability, and versatility.

Though still young, Melanie has already become a favorite around the kennel. Whether she's training, exploring, or finding creative ways to keep everyone on their toes, she approaches life with confidence, enthusiasm, and just the right amount of mischief.
